What happens after my diagnostic program?

Modern Health is designed for individuals who want to understand their health, address root causes, and take an active role in their care. The goal is to help you achieve meaningful improvement as efficiently as possible—not to maintain long-term memberships without purpose. Continued support is always available when it provides clear clinical value and helps you maintain your progress.

Optional Membership Support

Will I need a primary care provider?

2

Yes — it is very important to maintain a relationship with your primary care provider for routine care, recommended screenings, and exams. Our programs and memberships are designed to identify root causes, optimize your hormones, metabolism, and gut health, and help you feel like yourself as efficiently as possible. Memberships provide support and monitoring during your treatment plan, but they are not intended to replace your primary care provider.

Who This May Not Be the Best Fit For?

3

This model may not be ideal if you:

  • Prefer quick, one-time visits for prescriptions only

  • Are looking for immediate fixes without lifestyle or nutrition changes

  • Want extensive testing without a plan for long-term care

  • Need urgent or emergency medical services

Functional and metabolic care is a process. It works best for those ready to take an active role in their health with guidance and support along the way.

What to Expect in Your First 90 Days

4

Functional and metabolic care is a process, not a single visit. The first three months are focused on understanding your body, identifying root causes, and building a plan that evolves with you.

Month 1: Deep Assessment & Direction
We begin with a comprehensive visit to review your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and goals. From there, we identify the most relevant labs and next steps — not excessive testing, but what is truly helpful.
You’ll gain an initial guidance and a clear direction forward.

Month 2: Data & Personalization
Once lab results return, we review them together in detail. This is where patterns emerge — hormone shifts, metabolic changes, inflammation, nutrient gaps, or thyroid concerns.
Your care plan is personalized and may include:

  • hormone support or adjustments

  • metabolic and insulin strategies

  • nutrition and lifestyle shifts

  • targeted supplementation when appropriate

Month 3: Adjustment & Momentum
As your body begins responding, we refine your plan. Doses may change, strategies become more specific, and we focus on what is actually moving the needle for your energy, weight, sleep, and overall well-being.

Telehealth Model & Location

5

All visits are conducted via secure telehealth, allowing you to receive personalized care from the comfort and privacy of your home. This approach supports consistency, flexibility, and ongoing communication without the need for in-office appointments.

At this time, services are available to residents of Mississippi only.

Insurance & Payment

6

My practice does not bill or accept insurance.

Insurance models often limit the time, personalization, and root-cause work required for hormone and metabolic care. By operating outside of insurance, I’m able to:

  • spend meaningful time understanding your full health picture

  • focus on prevention and long-term outcomes

  • tailor care to your needs rather than insurance requirements

  • recommend the most appropriate labs and strategies without restrictions

This allows for more thoughtful, individualized care rather than rushed, symptom-focused visits.

How to Get Started?

7

The first step is scheduling a brief discovery call.

This is a short, no-pressure conversation where we:

  • discuss your goals and current concerns

  • review what you’re looking for in care

  • determine whether this practice is the right fit for you

Functional and metabolic care works best when there is strong alignment between provider and patient. The discovery call ensures you feel comfortable, informed, and confident before moving forward.

If we decide to work together, we’ll schedule your initial comprehensive visit and begin the process of building your personalized care plan.
